Diabetes Support Group To Meet Feb. 8

The Yankton Area Diabetes Support Group will meet at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8 in the Benedictine Center Cafeteria.

Lisa Miller will present “Diabetes and the Heart.” Learn about decreasing your risk for heart disease, eating for a healthy heart, the difference in heart disease between women and men and Planet Heart screening at Avera.

The Benedictine Center Cafeteria is found on the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital campus, second floor of the Benedictine Center (old hospital building). The Yankton Area Diabetes Support Group now meets the second Monday of January, February, March, April, May, June, August, September and October. Everyone is welcome. A snack is provided.
