Dairy Calving Workshop Set For Dec. 11
The Midwest Dairy Institute near Milbank is the site of a dairy calving management workshop will be held at the Midwest Dairy Institute near Milbank on December 11. It starts at 9:30 a.m. The meeting’s focus is managing calving difficulties in dairy cattle and health issues of both cow and calf in the crucial period just before and right after calf birth.
The South Dakota Cooperative Extension Service is sponsoring the workshop, which is designed for producers, managers, employees, and veterinarians in the dairy industry.
The Midwest Dairy Institute is located 3 and three-quarters miles south and 2 and one-half miles east of the U.S. Highway 12 and state Highway 15 intersection.
