Students Reflect On American Ed. Week
Students from area elementary schools reflected on what makes their classrooms great in honor American Education Week.
Beadle Elementary
We can learn lots of things. People help you when you are hurt. We like math tubs. We make patterns. We learn to count to 100. We like to go down the slides at recess. The teachers help us learn. We love our school!

Teachers make our school great! They come outside with us at recess, and they teach us stuff like how to share, clean up, taking turns and ABCs. We love to come to school to play and learn. The school helpers make our school great! The KIDS make our school great!

Beadle School is great because there are teachers that help us learn. Our teachers like us and our friends like us, too. We sing songs. We do math. We learn to subtract. In adding we find the sum. We get exercise in P.E. We get recess outside. We get centers. We have a Halloween Party. We get holidays off. We like to learn. We do great!

Beadle Elementary School has excellent students. We appreciate going to school in a safe building with a gymnasium, books and supplies. We have security cameras and practice drills to keep us safe. Our school has teachers who teach us new things every day. We have a playground where we can get exercise and time with our friends. We use SMART Boards, laptops and computers in our classrooms to help us learn. We get extra classes like music, physical education, library, counseling and art each week. It is a privilege to have school lunch and breakfast served each day. Sometimes, we have guest speakers, assemblies and volunteers that come to help our class. Our school has PTA that sponsors book club, Spanish club, and chess club, and they raise money for our school.

Beadle School is great because of the awesome teachers and incredible students. We learn interesting facts in science, social studies and reading. Math is challenging, but fun. Art is the best! We can be creative and even get messy. Beadle School is preparing us for our future.

We have a great janitor who keeps our school clean. Our library has great books. We have a track to walk on each morning. Students have thoughtful minds. And Lincoln School has good helpers, a good secretary, principal and teachers.

Lincoln School is great for many reasons and here are a few. The best thing about the school is our teachers. We have teachers who teach us so many things and come up with the best ideas. It’s a wonder how we keep it all in our minds. We also have many activities and cool projects which makes school more fun. The lunches are good and pizza dippers are a favorite. The other students at Lincoln are very nice and thoughtful too. The Student Council has WOW Wednesdays, which helps us remember to be thankful and considerate. It is so cool how we have extra supplies and laptop computers. The books in the library and classrooms are really great! Our playground equipment is fun, especially the walking track. The different programs and assemblies are interesting and funny! It is a wonderful school!

Everyone has the right to play with someone at Lincoln School. I think the Daily Five is great because you learn how to read and write. The principal keeps us safe. The students, teachers, principal, secretary and custodian are all really nice! If you go to music class, your feet will move to the beat!

1) Lincoln school has so many great teachers that take care of us to make sure we learn a lot!
2) We have a great principal who does fun activities with us like cutting his ties, giving us perfect attendance pencils and writing “Something to Crow About” awards.
3) We are thankful to the people who pay taxes to help support all the fun activities we do at school!
4) Everyone is so nice!
I go to Lincoln Elementary. Lincoln Elementary is a great school for many reasons. I’m glad I go there. The teachers are good and care about their students. They make sure the students understand what they are taught. The principal knows all of the students and keeps them safe. The Library is awesome! It has many shelves full of wonderful books to choose from. These are the reasons I think my school is great!

It is safe. Our school has a lot of people that care about each other and have fun with each other.

Stewart School is a great school because we have great teachers and hard-working students. Our school has a great principal, Mr. Klimisch. We love it here because we always feel safe. What makes Stewart great is the amazing art in the hallways, the brand new SMART Boards, and the library filled with books for us to read.
