Bucks Beat Out Vermillion

With five golfers shooting under 80, the Yankton Bucks out-distanced Vermillion by 52 strokes in a home golf dual Friday afternoon at Hillcrest Golf Course.

Marc Gubbels of Yankton took top individual honors, shooting a 69 as the Bucks carded a 290 as a team, with Vermillion at 342.

Also for the Bucks, Jordan Mueller shot a 71, with Tyler Frick and Gabe Messler at 75, and Dillon May at 76. Vermillion’s Aaron Steele finished sixth individually with a 78.

The Bucks also won the JV dual, carding a 328 with Vermillion second at 435.
